Employment & Career Support

 Employment Support

Global Talent Internship Programme

Global Talent is an internship programme, providing former refugees and migrants with practical work experience and local referees through 1-3 months internship placements. The programme supports participants to build networks and experience to connect them with job opportunities. The programme also educates employers about the business case for employing people from refugee and migrant backgrounds.

Teamwork

Workforce Diversity and Inclusion Project

HOST works with employers in several cities across Aotearoa New Zealand to foster better inclusion of refugee and migrant background jobseekers through training, advisory and bridge building activities such as Meet the Talent that bring together employers and refugee jobseekers.  HOST can also provide guidance and coaching to work alongside community members with business start-ups.
